I booked rooms for myself and five colleagues so a bit of pressure to get it all right for them. The place was a delight, Heather, Nicola and family are lovely warm people. The hotel is light, airey and comfortable with subtle colour schemes and some beautiful artwork on the walls. The breakfast was outstanding and everyone of my party left saying they would be back, with their wives, say it all. many thanks.

Having coming of the phone, after talking to Heather , I knew that I would enjoy my stay at “The Botteaux”. And this I certainly did; from the cleanliness to the comfort offered both the bedroom. and the bar in the evening. However, “The Bottreaux’s “ crowning glory is the al a carte menu served up in the evening produced by a proper chef. All the best Heather and I will be back.

The moment I heard Heather's voice on the phone I had a feeling that The Bottreaux was the place in Boscastle where I would most like to stay. That it has its own carpark was another huge advantage is a place like Boscastle, where parking is at a premium. And, to our delight, it turned out that there is no extra charge for single occupation of a double/twin room. This meant that my daughter and I both slept like babies.

Where do I start? The rooms are delightful, the breakfasts delicious, with lots of choice of cooked food (or sinfully buttery croissants!) and fresh fruit salad every morning.

But it is the warm welcome, the kindness and thoughtfulness that I will remember most of all, both from Heather, Nicola and lovely Kim the housekeeper.
I can't wait to come back as soon as I can find an excuse!

We loved it so much we extended our stay.

Have just enjoyed a wonderful weekend at the Bottreaux. Stayed in the "Forrabury Heights" room, which was light and spacious, and spotlessly clean. Had a lovely en-suite and gorgeuos views. The staff were excellent throughout our stay, we were made very welcome and felt at home. Food was spectacular, morning and night, and we would definitely return.
